getting ready for school!

Today genevieve, yi ling and I went to collect our T-cards (equivalent to matric card), checked out the bookstore and opened our bank accounts at the Royal Bank of Canada.

At the bookstore I bought three economics-related books for reading pleasure and a University of Toronto water bottle. These items cost me nearly CAN$100. But I have no regrets because the books and water bottle I bought were definitely worth the money!

School starts next Monday 10 Sept!

Streetcar

Notice how traffic lights in Toronto differ from that in Singapore? Here, they do not use red, amber and green lights. This means 4 more seconds to cross the road.

See the white man (instead of green man)? Cross the road!
