Niagara Falls is a place I've always wanted to visit. Like the trip to st jacobs village and elora gorge, this trip was organised by the ISC, which yi ling and I happily signed up for.
Alas, it was raining and the temperature was 16 deg celsius. I was shivering like crazy. How am I going to survive winter?
Let the beauty of the Falls enchant you now!

can you see me shivering?

nice
Then it was off to the winery at the Niagara Falls area.
name of the winery
grapes to make wine
oak cartons to store the wine... the oak gives the wine flavour and the oak must strictly come from USA or France
ice wine! the grapes to make this wine have to be hand picked with BARE HANDS at -10 deg celsius! Can you imagine that?
Our third destination was Niagara-on-the-lake, a little village with rows of shophouses, a bit similar to st jacobs village.

horses among the cars... what a contrast

It's wonderful to get some respite from city living once in a while to get closer to mother nature. From there, we discover that there's much more to life than our television sets, air conditioners, computers, mobile phones and other creature comforts that have become indispensable in our daily lives.
I wonder how life is like for people living in the countryside. Will we city dwellers be able to understand and appreciate their way of life and the things that bring them happiness and fulfillment?
